Board Members

The Board of Directors of Orangefield Water Supply Corporation (OWSC) serves as the governing body responsible for establishing policies, guiding operations, and ensuring that the corporation fulfills its mission to provide safe, high-quality water services to the Orangefield community.

OWSC is governed by a volunteer Board composed of local community members who are elected by the membership. Directors must be members of the corporation, meaning they receive service from OWSC and are in good standing. Each board member serves a term of three years, with elections held annually to fill expiring seats.

The Board’s responsibilities include:

  • Adopting and enforcing policies to guide OWSC operations
  • Approving the annual budget and monitoring financial performance
  • Ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Appointing officers and overseeing the General Manager
  • Representing the interests of OWSC members and ratepayers

Regular board meetings are held to discuss operational matters, approve expenditures, and plan for future improvements. Members are encouraged to attend these meetings and participate in the democratic process of OWSC governance.
